Our founding member, Emily, is a signatory of the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) from the United Nations and a member of the Women’s Funding Network (WFN). She sits on the Board of Directors for Inclusion by Design, a nonprofit startup ensuring “Certified entities have accountability, inclusion, equity, and diversity built into their DNA.”

 

    • coFLOWco will be a Benefit Corporation of Oregon by 2023.

    • We are SBA Certified as a women-owned business (WOB) as of January 2021.

    • WBENC Certified women's business enterprise (WBE) 2020-2021. As this certification had several equity and accessibility challenges, we decided not to renew it, but will continue to renew our WOB through the SBA every 3 years.

    • B Corp certification. We decide to pause this work as we shifted to support more people through FLOWLab. We intend to apply by the end of 2022.

    • As a future worker-owned co-op, we support other coops. We became members of Zebras Unite December 2021.

    • We collaborate and work with our community of fellow Social Entrepreneurs. We are members of The Good Market, Catalyst 2030, and Businesses for a Better Portland (BBPDX).

    • We love to use and support great design SaaS for creators! As members of Squarespace’s Circle network and the Miro Professional network, we pass on discounts and benefits to our Collective members.

    • We were accepted as members of TrustLaw from Reuters, providing free legal service to social enterprises, nonprofits, and NGOs.
